Welcome to Park Law
Park Law is run by Ian Park, who trained at a leading law firm in the City of London. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England in 1978 and holds a current Practising Certificate issued by the Law Society.
Since qualifying, Ian Park has travelled extensively, representing many major clients and successfully overseeing construction, trade and commercial projects, many of which were in the petrochemical field. Ian has gained vast experience in his field of international commercial law and, through Park Law, offers first class legal, commercial and practical support and advice.
Ian has Degrees in both Arts and Law and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has led a highly successful career both in industry and more recently, in the legal profession, and has built a reputation within the international legal field, as being reliable, approachable, efficient, successful, forward thinking, experienced and thorough.

Appointments in Industry
In addition to practising law Ian Park has held a number of senior management positions in industry in the UK where he was the Managing Director of a FTSE 100 subsidiary, in Belgium and in the USA where he served on committees appointed by the White House to advise on aspects of US foreign trade.
Law Firm
Ian has operated his own highly successful law firm since 1986. Clients include Governments, multi-national corporations, public and private companies and individuals. No work is considered to be too large or too small and clients often report that projects run much more smoothly with Ian and Park Law’s input.

Ian has been conducted several major international arbitrations, for example:
- Mineral rights in Zaire.
- A flash flood in the desert in Iran, which flooded an oil refinery.
- The destruction of an oil refinery by a typhoon, in India.
